After 3,765 votes being cast, we have the results of our First Annual Local Love Awards!  You made your choices known across a range of questions like favorite eco-chic wedding, favorite use of feathers, and best groom style.  The wedding professionals who worked with the couples in these weddings worked so hard and we love any chance to show them off!  Without further ado, the results of your voting! 

Winning for your favorite wedding cake and cupcakes are Sarah and Andy.  You must have a sweet tooth!  Congrats to Twinfully Sweet for their innovative cake design and the baseball themed cupcakes! 

Winning for your favorite bridal bouquet were Danielle and Ben!  Danielle carried a gorgeous and brilliant colored bouquet designed by My Wedding Blooms.  We (you, too!) especially love the jeweled brooch on the stems.

We had two weddings in 2009 that took the use a feathers in decor to a whole new level ... and your choice for favorite was Heather and Grayson.  The props for this wedding have to go to Heather, the bride ... as she DIY'd the feathers herself :)

It's without a doubt that Merrill and Tim's wedding received a ton of attention in the Local Love Awards ... winning the most categories in:  favorite eco-chic wedding (thanks to their rad venue the Smog Shoppe), most creative table decor (did you see the flowers by Mr. B's Flowers?), favorite groom style, favorite bridesmaid dresses, and favorite bridal shoes!  Wow :)  Mark Brooke Photographers did an exceptional job of capturing their day ... just see below!
